How to determine a computers motherboard model in Windows 7
Step 1 – Click on Start button and click on run (alternatively you can also press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard).
Step 2 – Enter “dxdiag” and press Enter. You should see a screen like the following screenshot.
Refer to the highlighted things where System Manufacturer is the company that manufactured your motherboard and System Model represents the exact model number of your motherboard.
