How to Change Startup Sound in Windows XP

Hello guyz.. Today we are going to check out how to change the default start up sound to a custom sound.  Well Let us see How to change and put your desired music our sound at your start up. To start with,

Go to Control Panel -> Double Click on Sound and Audio Devices.

Now you will see a Window related to your Sound Settings, be careful no mischievous attempts and no changing settings to avoid mess ups.

Now Click on the Sound tab below the Menu bar as you can see in the picture below

Now let me tell you what more sort of sounds you can customize from here. To be precise, every sound which you hear from the start up to your log off in your windows explorer can be altered.

The only drawback is that your sound should be in .wav format. Well normally .wav format is not far-flung because of its low compression rate. yeah that the fact. Nothing to worry, we have taken all the pains to find a free software for converting to mp3 to wav you can get it from MP3fe

Now since you’ve got you .wav files lets see whats next to do..

In the program events, select the “start windows” which you can see below after you scroll. Now selecting the Start Windows option Choose Browse option

Now Browse for you selected file (which is of .wav extension of course)

Click on OK -> Click on Apply to take effects

Now log off Your Windows and log in back to check whether its working but wait before you leave a feedback please..

Hey! thanks now I can have my favorite song of backstreet boys as my startup.
The default windows one is really too boring  and I was always thinking about changing it to some thing more interesting.
