First off all this post is not just an entry. I want everyone who is reading this to please comment here to help me out.

When ever I feel some one taller than me I keep wondering if there is any way to grow some taller, if not more then at least 2 inches ?

Hell no, Im not that short, Im 176cms tall and I wish if I could be over 180cms tall.. Well my thirst to gain some more height is increasing more as the time is passing.

Searching for the Truth

I searched all over the web and found a completely different solutions at each page I visit. The answers varies from one cannot gain height after the age 18 (how frightful, did I say I’ll be going to be 19 years old this January), then some one says that you cant gain height after reaching the age of 21 and a few says you can gain a few inches doing some stretching  exercise with no age bar. And the final answer I get is using steroids that I am never going to do.

Some Relieve

The second and third answers gave me some assurance that there is some probability that I can gain some inches maybe (havent tried yet.) So based upon my search on the web I have found some sort of exercise that enuciates that you can grow taller. Lets get to work..

Lets Do It

  • Swimming - Wow ! I love swimming.. Don’t know how its going to help but many people advise me to swim an hour atleast daily in order to grow some tall
  • Cycling - Yeah even cycling proves good to gain some height. The thing here is that the seating should be higher enough so that your legs stretch completely in order to use the pedals.
  • BasketBall - BasketBall seems to be a magic formula to gain some height as fast as one can. It is observed that when we jump and play basketball our shin and thigh bone tissues and fluid get elasticated and elongated. And hence longer bones is nothing but a taller height.
  • Hanging – hanging and swinging seems to be another good way gain some height. Personally this worked on me and thats the reason I may have got upto 5′ 9″.
  • Skipping – lots of people in the gym told me that skipping is one of the best exercises to gain height. But it didnt look like for me.
  • Improving Posture – this seems to have some weight in it. Many people seem to have a bad posture, I myself do and say imporving the posture can affect your height from 1-3 inches. It seems that our spinal cords and backbone are bent a bit. So if we work on it and get it straight then its just like gaining 1-3 inches. Not sure about this one too.

Once since I got 5′ 9″ nothing above seems to be working on me. I am 18yrs and 11 months old right now.

What do you say ?

So I request you all to please help me gain 2 inches. I would really be grateful to get some nice height. So do you know any serious exercises to gain some height. Just 2 inches is more than enough for me. Please do leave a comment..
