And this time I am back with something different, handy for everyday usage for many bloggers who post video. Yes its the Embed Youtube Video. I have made embedding of youtube videos on your blog quite easy. by using plugin.Read the description for how it works and if you would like to help me, please donate or atleast digg, stumble and share this page with your friends..
Description
This plugin allows you to embed youtube videos on your blog.
The code of embeded videos is a valid XHTML Markup and compatiable with all major web browsers. This plugin can come handy to all those who embed many videos their blogs.
Embeded videos are in 425px by 344px in dimension.
Usage
- While writing/editing your post
- Wrap the youtube video id between [ techytube][/techytube] tags embed a youtube video.
You can get the youtube Video ID from the URL of the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v={video_id_here}Â (Please note that [ techytube][/techytube] are case sensitive) - Anything between [ techytube][/techytube] will not be visible directly on your blog.
- Example : This is the normal post content [ techytube]_OBlgSz8sSM[/techytube] will embed the video from this page
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBlgSz8sSM

OK, I’ve downloaded it via Firefox onto my desktop. Now what do I upload it to? I’m hosted by register.com. What file do I upload it to/from? Thanks!!
- unzip the downloaded file, you’ll get a folder techytube
- open up your server via FTP
- upload the folder to wp-content/plugins/
- open yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
- activate the plugin

Great plugin! Your Techytube code works fine. Only change would be to add a after call, as the “Powered by Techytube” text/link seems to overlap next line of (blog) text. Very easy to use, excellent. Thanks, Atif
